Spintastics, la famosa marca americana de trompos y yo-yos, fué la creadora de los parches. La forma original de obtener estos parches es mediante la cumplimentación y envío del siguiente documento:
Para conseguir el parche necesitabas a un instructor que te diera el visto bueno a los trucos y te firmase la aplicación. Una vez recibido el documento vía postal Spintastics te enviaba el correspondiente parche de tela borado.
En la actualidad puedes aplicar a los parches online compartiendo el vídeo en el foro correspondiente.
